The Circular Economy concept extends the boundaries of sustainability beyond the manufacturing phase to look at the whole life cycle of a product from the design, the sourcing of materials through its manufacture and use to consider the final destination including any second life potential for the goods or components. It forms the core of new approaches being considered by regulators both in the EU and the UK such as the new EU Circular Action Plan

Our ‘Circular Economy’ training module will introduce the key concepts of the circular economy and look at all the legislative drivers that are currently under consideration and the impact of that upon the furniture industry
