FIRA International are the service provider to the Furniture Industry Research Association. This includes authoring technical guides, undertaking research and attending British, European and International standards meetings, ensuring the views of the furniture industry are represented.

In addition FIRA International's technical consultants carry out audits and gap analysis for the Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP). FISP is an independently certified sustainability programme tailored to the needs of the furniture industry supply chain. It promotes best practice to drive social, economic, and environmental change, via continual improvement of members business operations.
