BS EN 12521:2015

Table Testing

BS EN 12521:2015 Furniture. Strength, durability and safety. Requirements for domestic tables

We have 50KG in the centre of the table top and apply 300 Newtons (type 2 tables) & 150 Newtons (Type 1 Tables) to the top of the table top using 100mm Diameter load pad. This is run for 10,000 cycles and takes 1 -2 days to complete.

This is a Durability of Surface Mechanism test and is run with 50KG weight on the table top and then runs up and down for 5,000 cycles.
