Howard James

Howard is our Testing and Technical Manager.

He has been involved in furniture testing for over 20 years. He supports FIRA International clients with risk assessments and has been involved in supporting product recalls.

Howard is a member of various standards committees, including ones which focus on flammability, furniture and test methods for furniture. He has also played a key role in the development of new standards on behalf of the Furniture Retail Quality Group, including ones concerned with flammability, glass in furniture and also children’s furniture.
